Position Summary
We are seeking an Accounting Assistant / HR Administrator to join our dedicated team. This position offers a variety of responsibilities, blending accounting and human resources support with general office tasks. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and proactive—someone who thrives in a collaborative environment but can also work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accurately record bank transactions.
- Review receipts and disbursements related to CABS (Carrier Access Billing System).
- Prepare regulatory, state, and federal tax reports.
- Maintain general ledger accounts through monthly journal entries.
- Maintain and update employee data and personnel files.
- Administer employee benefits and assist with payroll.
- Provide customer service support by answering calls as needed.
- Perform other office and administrative duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree in accounting, finance, or related field OR 3+ years of accounting experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
